Active since 2005 and based in Sneek, the Netherlands, Desah specialises in decentralised wastewater treatment and is part of Noardling. Building on technology developed at Wetsus, the company designs modular systems that separate grey and black wastewater at source for local treatment. Its solutions combine vacuum sanitation, resource recovery, biogas production, heat recovery, water reuse and nutrient recycling. Desah provides design, installation, commissioning and maintenance for residential developments, offices, hotels, remote sites and projects requiring additional treatment capacity, supporting circular and resource-efficient water management.
Built in standard shipping containers, the mobile system treats 25–350 m³ of wastewater daily, enabling scalable, sustainable water reuse where centralized infrastructure is impractical.
